Disney Details: Walt Disney World Entrance

I’ve wanted my first photos posted to be one of my favorites so far and since today marks the 38th anniversary of the opening of Walt Disney World, this one seemed like a fitting one to start with. Disney fans should easily recognize this landmark- one of multiple arches that grace entrances to the resort. This particular one is the entrance that leads guests past the entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If you look closely, you can spot the park’s “Earful Tower” far in the distance with the Dolphin Resort behind it.

I don’t think that I would call this my most technically perfect shot, but considering that this was taken through the window of a moving car, I’m quite proud of it. Plus, I think at least for me, the feeling you get when you drive up to that arch is there- the feeling that something fun, exciting and memorable is bound to happen.

Welcome

Hello and Welcome!

I'm an amature photographer and theme park fan. Here I'll be showcasing some of the pictures that I've taken over the years primarily from two of my favorite places to capture in photos- Walt Disney World and Busch Gardens theme park in Florida- along with a few other locations here and there. Along the way, I'll also be sharing my thoughts on the photos, the theme parks and more.

If you would like to see more of my photos, feel free to check out my Photostream on Flickr.

Thanks for checking out the blog, and I hope you will enjoy it.
